We are excited to announce that our client is implementing a new program and is seeking three Regional Vice Presidents to join their team. The regions categorized are as follows: Central Region- Beatrice, Grand Island, Kearney, Lincoln, and Nebraska City; Eastern Region- Blair, Fremont, and Omaha; Western Region- Lexington, McCook, and North Platte.

The selected individuals will be responsible for providing leadership, supervision, oversight, guidance, and support to all programmatic operations within their assigned region. This role involves significant community relations, strategic development, and operational oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective management of CCBHC and program services across the state. 
Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and support to direct and indirect reports within the region, ensuring consistency and standardization of programming in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage and support Directors within the region, ensuring effective leadership, program management, and adherence to quality improvement practices.
  • Oversee the implementation of standards pertinent to Behavioral Health programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, COA and CCBHC standards, and organizational policies. 
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker for the assigned region, addressing and resolving issues as they arise. 
  • Lead community relations efforts within the region, representing the agency in interactions with community leaders, stakeholders, and donors.
  • Drive development initiatives, working closely with the development team to engage with potential donors and community partners.
  • Foster strong relationships with regional stakeholders to enhance the organization’s presence and impact in the community. 
  • Collaborate with Finance and program leadership to develop and oversee the regional budget, ensuring financial stability and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Liaise with Finance on budget matters, participate in monthly budget meetings, and provide comprehensive financial reports to direct reports and senior leadership.
  • Ensure productivity and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met within assigned region and that improvement plans are developed and implemented when necessary. 
  • Oversee the management of program operations across the region, ensuring compliance with standards and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication across all levels of the assigned region.
  • Travel regularly within the assigned region to meet with employees, assess operations, and provide leadership and support as needed. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as needed.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Participate in Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) activities as needed.
  • Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, public administration, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a leadership role within a behavioral health or healthcare setting is required. 
  • Experience with community relations, development, and managing complex organizations across multiple locations is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budget development, financial reporting, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Familiarity with CCBHC standards and nonprofit operations is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Hybrid work environment (in-office, in community, and remote).
  • Company-issued laptop and cell phone.
  • Regular travel is required within the assigned region to engage with employees, stakeholders, and the community. 
  • Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to meet client/agency needs.
