Job Summary

*Hybrid-Incumbent must work a percentage of each week fron an office within the AgCountry, FCSAmerica or Frontier territories.

Provide overall direction, coaching, and planning for the Loan Servicing team. Direct leadership in the area of loan servicing actions from the point of request for non-consumer and consumer loans. Responsible for ensuring the teams compliance with all regulations and procedures associated with loan servicing actions. Accountable for ensuring the protection of Association assets through the correct development and implementation of loan servicing documents. Additionally, this role provides organization-wide loan servicing leadership direction in alignment with the organization's strategic initiatives, including recruitment, staffing models, operational training initiatives, process improvement, audit and credit administration, and sales enablement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Loan Servicing

  • Lead loan servicing from the point of request through completion for non-consumer and consumer loans.
  • Prioritize workload to ensure correct documents are available in a timely manner.
  • Lead interest rate and fees understanding to ensure teammates have the capabilities to implement servicing actions with accuracy.
  • Lead the understanding of requirements related to loan servicing documents such as title work, collateral ownership entity verification, legal name verification, etc.
  • Responsible for review of entity and trust documentation and preparation of resolutions to borrow.
  • Review PCA and FLCA collateral for release for paid off loans.
  • Monitor ongoing conditions such as property insurance.
  • Coordinate with teammates to enhance customer experience.

Credit Administration and Delivery

  • Coordinate work activity and processes with Credit Underwriting team members and leaders.
  • Ensure adherence to processes to improve consistency in standardization models.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as HMDA, Reg B, and Reg Z, order flood determinations when required.
  • Due diligence in perfecting lien position impacted by loan servicing action; amend UCC as needed.
  • Monitor and manage workflow within the Loan Servicing team to ensure an appropriate level of customer service and coordination between offices and to optimize efficiencies.
  • Monitor internal controls/accounting procedures/reports, etc.
  • In conjunction with the VPs of Retail Loan Closing, provide leadership, direction and counsel to the delivery of Association credit philosophy, including leading and directing the Peer Review process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Cont.

Travel Time

Percentage of time required to travel during the day - 50%

Percentage of time required to travel overnight - 20%

Education Requirements

4 Year/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance and/or Economics preferred

Years of Experience

6 + years of experience which may include prior leadership experience in Lending

Certification and Technical Requirements

  • Ability to provide sound technical advice to leadership and other teammates in the subject field(s) related to this position.
  • High level of understanding of compliance, regulations and procedures associated with loan servicing.
  • A sound understanding of credit management and thorough understanding of credit administration in a lending environment.
  • Maintain a current awareness of social, economic, governmental and environmental forces impacting agriculture.
  • Ability to interpret policy, programs, and regulations.
  • Farm Credit experience and knowledge of Farm Credit Administration (FCA) regulations, district and Association policy.
