Position Description
Lindsay Corporation is hiring a Process Engineering Supervisor within our Operations Engineering team. The Process Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for managing a 5-7 person process engineering team. The ideal candidate process engineer isresponsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing industrial manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity by analyzing operational data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to streamline production while adhering to safety regulations;essentially aiming to create the most effective and cost-efficient production methods possible within a facility. This position will report to the Manager, Operations Engineering.

This is a full-time, first shift, Olathe, KS based position. Expected travel required: < 5%.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervises and coaches a 5 7 person process engineering team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical expertise.
- Leads the development and execution of the companys process engineering and automation strategy to drive operational excellence.
- Provides guidance, training, and performance management to ensure the team meets engineering and operational targets.
- Mentors team to provide growth and development opportunities for them.
- Process Design and Development: Analyze existing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and designing new or improved procedures to enhance efficiency and output.
- Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and stretch targets to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and report results to operational leadership.
- Implementation and Monitoring: Implement process changes, monitor performance metrics, and make adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operation and compliance with quality standards.
- Improve manufacturing and assembly methods with a lean Six Sigma mindset.
- Data Analysis: Collect and interpret data from production lines to identify trends, diagnose issues, and develop optimization strategies.
- Project Management: Lead process improvement projects, including project plan development, timelines, and budgets.
- Create, manage, and analyze labor routing standards and maintenance procedures.
- Create maintenance procedures and PM schedules for equipment.
- Identifies and sources equipment and tools required for electronic manufacturing.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on new technologies and industry best practices to incorporate advancements into production processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like operations, quality control, and maintenance to ensure seamless integration and communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree of applied science of electronics or other technical engineering degree and 2 - 5 years of electronics manufacturing experience.
- 2 years experience in a management role.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in leading, problem solving, and resource management.
- Previous lean Six Sigma training and experience preferred.
- Experience with RCCA methodology
- Ability to maintain and trouble shoot electrical and mechanical problems with automated production equipment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically to meet with customers and other off-site personnel.
