As part of our aggressive growth strategy in the Americas, we are looking for a high-performing Technical Support Specialist to ensure we meet our new customer and revenue growth targets by providing great technical support. AEC industry knowledge is required for this position as you need to know the landscape of our customer's business.
What You Will Do
- Provide end to end technical support to existing customers, including installation, licensing, software usage, networking and broader implementation into the design workflow.
- Develop key customer relationships, leading to increased satisfaction and sense of value, thus increasing customer retention.
- Explain complex workflows and technology in simple, easy to follow terms.
- Leverage your industry knowledge in Architecture, Engineering and Construction to help and teach customers best practices for using Allplan software.
- Create and maintain regional technical documentation (FAQs), how-to guides and videos, and promotional documentation
- Test and accurately log product issues or bugs with product development teams.
- Occasionally travel to company meetings or customer sites (< 10% travel)

Experience You Need
- Experience working as a precast detailer, rebar detailer or similar industry knowledge
- Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in the North American market
- Knowledge of CAD tools (3D Preferred) such as Allplan, AutoCad, RebarCad, aSa Rebar, Revit and/or Tekla, ideally using the software from project initiation to handover.
