CNA - Omaha Pediatrics 3p-11p (40 hrs)

Pediatric Rehabilitation â?? Serving pediatric patients from birth to age 18 with customized age-appropriate treatment of brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, cancer and other medically complex needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Participates in patient discharge planning
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• 18 year of age
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program
• Active CNA certification in good standing in Nebraska
