Production Specialist

We have a career opportunity for a Production Specialist. As a Production Specialist, you will be responsible for the daily manufacturing operations and process oversight.

The operator will be located at one of American Laboratories' south locations, working with different management levels and support personnel in other office locations.

The impact you will have:

  • You will train all new production operators.
  • You will assist on-going training with established employees.
  • You will fill in as needed as designated by the Director of Production.
  • You will assist the Production Supervisors, Production Managers, Production and Quality Assurance personnel in troubleshooting and determining root cause of process deviations.
  • You will be cross-trained and knowledgeable in all areas of Production.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Preferrably, you will have two years of experience in a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to competently perform processing procedures.
  • It is preferred that you will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cGMP, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to learn, work hands-on and with a sense of urgency, in a fast-paced and diverse product manufacturing environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements may include working with enzyme products, occasionally rolling or moving drums weighing from 50-350lbs.; using material handling equipment such as barrel carts, dollies, pallet jacks and forklifts; bending, twisting and lifting material out of drums and boxes; working with and handling hazardous chemicals.
