We are expanding our team and looking for a compassionate, skilled, and driven Pediatric Physical Therapist to join us.
Job Description:
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will work directly with children, ages 0-18, in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for assessing, and developing personalized treatment plans to help children improve their mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence. You will also provide guidance and education to families and caregivers, empowering them to participate in their child's therapy journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments of children’s physical capabilities and developmental milestones.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
Provide therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and motor skills.
Work collaboratively with a team of pediatric specialists, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical professionals.
Educate and guide families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and progress notes.
Stay informed on the latest pediatric therapy techniques, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Nebraska.
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience working with pediatric patients preferred, but new graduates with a passion for pediatric care are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of pediatric development and therapeutic techniques.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload.
