Adjunct Construction Instructor- Shenandoah

This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. 

Job Duties

Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.

Qualifications

  • 6000 hours of construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driverâ??s license and good driving record.

Physical Demands

Physical Demands of Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Other physical requirements (note):
    • The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 
    • Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
