Digital Visibility Specialist

Shape how patients find and choose Nebraska Medicine. As our Digital Visibility Specialist, you'll play a critical role in advancing Nebraska Medicine's digital presence by ensuring our clinicians, services, and expertise are discoverable wherever patients seek healthcare information. Advance Nebraska Medicine's digital visibility, reputation, and patient acquisition by owning search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO), review management and response, and structured data strategy across NebraskaMed.com and connected digital properties. This role operates at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and emerging AI-driven search, ensuring Nebraska Medicine is authoritative, findable, and correctly represented wherever patients seek care.

Required Qualifications: Digital Visibility Specialist

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of experience is equal to one year of education) required.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent) required.
  • Experience managing large local search presence including Google Business Profiles or equivalent directory platforms required.
  • Experience auditing websites and maintaining content quality and accuracy across internal and third-party platforms required.
  • Experience with structured data/schema markup implementation required.
  • Thorough understanding of the social web, including blogs, forums, search engines, photo and video sharing, ratings and reviews, etc. required.
  • Experience creating and communicating performance reports to non-technical stakeholders required.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities required.
  • Keen ability to learn and adapt to evolving technologies required.

Preferred Qualifications: Digital Visibility Specialist

  • Experience with AEO, generative AI search surfaces, or large language model visibility optimization preferred.
  • Experience with Conductor Intelligence or comparable enterprise platform preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party directory listings, and local SEO (Google Business Profiles) preferred.
  • Experience with reputation management platforms like Press Ganey and responding to reviews preferred.
  • Experience with Drupal web content management system preferred.
  • Understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA) and how they intersect with SEO preferred.
  • Experience in health care preferred.
