Position Summary | The Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting research faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. We welcome applications from all areas of ophthalmology/vision-science research to complement our existing research. The strongest candidates will be those with a demonstrated record of scholarly activity and extramural research funding or potential for extramural funding. Applicants should hold a Ph.D., O.D., M.D., or equivalent degree. Postdoctoral and/or fellowship training is strongly encouraged. Responsibilities will principally involve maintaining an extramurally-funded and internationally-recognized research program, supervising Ph.D. and M.S. students and postdoctoral trainees, and supporting collaboration within the Department and across the University campus. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be offered a state-of-the-art laboratory research space and a competitive start-up package. The Stanley M.
