  • Job Overview: Travel RN position in the ICU at TriCities Hospital, Hopewell, VA.
  • Number of Beds: 11
  • Number of Staff: 3-5 RNs
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1, surge to 1:3
  • Type of Equipment: GE Beside Monitoring
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Typical Procedures: Care for high acuity patients, assist with intubation and bronchoscopy at bedside, SLED, TEE, and Cardioversions.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have ICU nursing experience
  • Ability to care for critically ill patients
  • Ability to monitor rhythm strips, recognize changes, and escalate to physicians timely
    Schedule Information
  • Every other weekend
  • No call
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Information: TriCities Hospital ICU
  • Floating Area(s): PCU, Telemetry, ER (only to take hold patients, not ER patients)
    Additional Details
  • Dress Code: Black Pants/Black or Caribbean Blue Tops
  • Unit Guidelines/Policies provided upon unit orientation
