A specialty practice in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join their staff primarily in New Jersey with flexibility to travel to the Westchester and Manhattan offices if needed.

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Specialty: Neurology/Epilepsy

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner will:

• Perform complete history and physical examinations on patients within the outpatient clinic and the medical centers
• Clearly discriminate between abnormal and normal findings when evaluating the history, physical examination, and laboratory tests
• Identify patient problems and develop further treatment plans and modalities in concert with the supervising physician
• Make complete entries in the EMR utilizing evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Active New Jersey State and New York Family Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA
• CDS
• Computer literacy and familiarity with EMR charting
