Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner

Our client in St. Joseph county, IN is in need of a Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a Locum assignment!

Job details:

• Start - ASAP
• EMR: currently TruChart but will be switching to Epic in March.
• Title Nurse Practitioner
• Hours: Full-time (however, will consider Part-time as well)
• Duration of assignment: Six (6) months to start
• On Call coverage one week on, and one week off.
• Need Geriatric experience
• For on-call during the week it is from approximately 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM the next day.
• On Saturday and Sunday, it is the entire day.
• There is no requirement to go anywhere when Nurse Practitioners take call. They only need to be available by phone.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
• AANP
• Active and unrestricted full license
• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
• CV needs current home address listed for presentation
• Will need a copy of ECFMG certificate if they attended school in a different country.
