Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shifts: M-F 7:30AM - 4:00PM: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00AM - 7:30PM

Location: Douglasville, GA

Duration: 6-month contract to hire.

Pay Rate: $37.00 - $61.00 based on years of experience.

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process: 1 and done onsite interview.

Must-Haves:

• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Required
• Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
• 2 years of experience.

Day-to-Day:

Wellstar Douglas in Douglasville, Georgia is seeking a FT Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department per department procedures. The technologist has the knowledge and ability to obtain a quality diagnostic study properly and safely. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. The technologist can independently perform job functions. He/she sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
