Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at our Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.

Orientation:

• 2 days of classroom orientation.
• No on-unit orientation provided.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Current New Jersey RN License (Registered Nurse).
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS Certification.
• TNCC certification is required.

Vaccination Requirements:

• COVID-19 vaccination plus 1 booster and flu shot are required.
