Mechanic

Four Peaks Landscape Management is looking for a On Site Mechanic for our East Valley Yard located in Apache Junction, Arizona. You will perform a variety of maintenance and repairs on two cycle equipment, light duty trucks, and light powered equipment. You must have a valid Driver's License and be able to operate a variety of light power-driven equipment. Essential Duties:

• Evaluate landscape equipment, making repair/purchase recommendations
• Complete service work orders
• Complete advanced repairs on 2-cycle and other landscape equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire changes and other vehicle services
• Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire changes, blade sharpening and changes on mowing equipment.
• Ensure equipment is clean, properly maintained and in good working order
• Create and maintain PM schedule for trucks and equipment

Job Skills/Requirements:

• Requires Arizona Driver License and an acceptable 39 month MVR record
• Minimum of 3 year of shop, mechanic or fleet experience
• Must be able to operate and repair a variety of 2 cycle equipment, and perform small engine repairs.
• Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
• Able to lift 50 lbs. (Equipment, tools, and supplies may need to be lifted, carried and/or pushed)
• Able to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Able to reach, bend, twist, kneel, stoop, squat, crouch and grasp along with repetitive movements may part of daily job duties
• Must be able to work in summer and winter climates

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:

Experience:

• Mechanic experience: 3 year (Required)
